Name:Living Prairie Museum
Description:The Living Prairie Museum is a 12-hectare tall grass prairie preserve located inside the City of Winnipeg. Set aside in 1968, this preserve is home to over 160 species of prairie plants and a great array of prairie wildlife.

The Living Prairie Museum environmental education programs are available for all ages and at many different locations. Special programs have been developed in accordance with the Manitoba Teachers (K-6) Science Curriculum. Pre-visit consultations with teachers are encouraged and program tailoring is available.
